Overview

WakeAI is a behavioural operating system that learns your patterns to help manage your daily life. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

• Location data — used to calculate travel time to calendar events and provide leave-time alerts. Not shared with third parties.
• Health data — sleep duration and step count from Apple HealthKit, used to personalise your daily insights. Never leaves your device in identifiable form.
• Calendar and reminders — read to show your schedule and create events on your behalf. Stored locally on your device.
• Behavioural patterns — anonymised usage data including alarm times, app usage hours, and interaction patterns. Used to power WakeAI's personalisation engine.
• Chat messages — conversations with WakeAI are stored to provide persistent chat history. Stored securely and associated only with your anonymous user ID.
• User context — facts you explicitly tell WakeAI about yourself (schedule, preferences, routines). Stored securely and used only to personalise your experience.

Anonymous Authentication

WakeAI uses anonymous authentication. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifying information. You are identified only by a randomly generated user ID.

Third Party Services

• Anthropic Claude API — your chat messages are processed by Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing.
• Supabase — used for secure data storage. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Apple HealthKit — health data is accessed with your explicit permission and used only within the app.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as you use the app. You can delete all your data at any time from the Settings screen using the Clear All Data option.

Children

WakeAI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
